Get your host ID data

To issue your license file(s) of your itemis Products we need your host ID values. You can get your host ID values from the LM-X End-user utility tool.

What is the LM-X End-user utility tool?

The LM-X End-user utility lets the user get the host ID values for his computer system. For machine-locked licenses, application vendors will use host ID values to create licenses specifically for this system. Since the host ID values are unique for each computer, each user should download and install the LM-X End-user utility on his computer.

After download, you have to unzip the archive.

Export host ID values

Who is this license for?
Go to the folder where the LMX Utility Tool is saved.
Anywhere in the background, press the shift key and right-click and select the option “Open Power Shell...”
The console window opens. Copy the following command and paste it in the console.
```
./lmxendutil.exe -hostid > LmxHostid_yourname.txt
```
Press Enter. After some seconds a new text file is created in the folder with name “LmxHostid_yourname.txt”.
